The Great Snowball fight of year 5 [Completely Open, Join at anytime!]

January 2nd, morning...

Hijinks... The lone defender of this land... Standing against hordes of deadly, vicious fiends, using nothing but snowballs. Hijinks stood at the top of a small hill in the middle of the Manehatten park. The recent weather had blanketed the city in a thick blanket of fluffy white snow. Perfect conditions to plan a war!

The snow crunched beneath her hooves as Hijinks made her to a relatively flat spot, next to one of the main pathways that twist through the park. She nodded, satisfied with the location. Now to build her amazing snow fort. She began to whistle a small merry tune as she began piling up small walls of snow. She wasn't planning anything fancy. Perhaps just a simple ring around her, with snowball supplies in the middle. Maybe a small castle or two, no biggie.

Phase one of the plan is underway. Phase two involves pelting passers-by with a barrage of deadly snowballs. Beware all who enter here!

Tida yawned as he made his way to the park with his instrument on his back.  Even though he had to get up early practically every day because of the job at Ulfred's shop, he still couldn't get used to waking up early in the morning.  However, Hijinks had given him an invitation to join her for some sort of snowball fight / war thing that was going on.  He wanted to join in, as it sounded fun and it was something to do aside from working.  He hoped however, that it didn't get too out of hand, as Tida knew that anything could happen if Hijinks was involved.

Taking the invitation out from his instrument bag, he took a look at it again.  It was a pink letter with pink glitter on it, love heart stickers, and lots of pink wrapping.  Fortunately, Hijinks used a black pen to show the location that this would be taking place, which was a hill in the middle of the park.  Unfortunately, because the park was huge, it would take him a while to get to the middle.  He put the invitation back in the instrument bag and began to think of the previous year and the things that happened during that time as he walked down one of the main pathways in the park.  He also thought about this year and what he wanted to accomplish.  He became lost in thought again, and didn't notice a small, purple filly piling up snow as he continued to walk down the path.

Rose happened been in the city long but had already made one friend at lest and now she had got an invite to a snow party and it even come with a invite letter. With lots of hearts and more glitter then she ever had seen in her life. As she walked to the Park that had been marked she was leaving a trail of glitter as it fell out of the card.

She walked through the park looking for sights were Mimi maybe as she had to be some were not far off the path. She fixed her Daring Do hat and made her way through the park.

Hijinks had already finished one section of the wall by the time she spotted Tida walking towards her. "And so the legend continues..." She commented quietly, rolling up a snowball in her hooves. She took aim at the defenseless Tida that was currently walking towards his doom! But before he threw the snowball, she licked her hoof and held it in the air. After a few seconds, she gave a satisfied nod, 'Yep... It's cold outside.' She analyzed. 

With one eye closed, and a tongue sticking out in concentration, she took aim again at Tida. "FIRE!" She yelled out as she threw the snow projectile at the innocent Tida. Hijiniks instantly ducked behind her cover and began preparing more ammunition.

Continuing to walk down the path, Tida heard a voice say 'FIRE!', snapping him out of his train of thought.  He looked up in time to get hit in the face by a snowball.  I guess I found the place where she specified Tida thought, wiping the snow off of his face as he made his way towards the small snow wall on top of the hill.

Hijinks saw the brownish stallion approach her fort. She stood up from behind the snow fort walls, making her presence known. "Halt!" She announced, holding a snowball that she was aiming at Tida's face. "Friend... or foe?"

Tida stopped in front of the fort as Hijinks had a snowball trained on him.  Tida took off his instrument bag and looked through it until he found the invitation that she had sent.  Tida took it out and showed it to Hijinks "I guess I'm a friend, since you gave me an invitation" Tida said in his usual relaxed manner.
