Personality: The Praetor appears cheerful; very reserved, very calm, but cheerful. He never raises his voice, and always speaks in a calm, even tone. He can come across as condescending when he wants, but he tends to employ wit more the malice. He bears himself as a griffon always in control- and even when he isn't, he can find a way as coming across that way. He always has a plan, a contingency, and even if things turn out the worst possible way he doesn't lose his cool. He's survived more then his share of near death situations.

The Praetor is unquestionably obedient to his griffon handlers in the OGI. He will not question an order given to him, and would commit suicide if prompted. The Praetor is the result of layer upon layer of mental obfuscation and brainwashing. He is no longer the griffon he once was, and cannot be that griffon. He is unquestionably a tool of the griffon occupation and will not hesitate or think twice about killing a room full of foals if the order were given. He'd do it politely, and with a friendly demeanor of course, but it'd be done none the less.


History: The Praetor is his title, Augustus is his rank. He is one of about five similar attempts in creating unquestioning servants for the Griffons, and like his brothers and sisters, he has almost no recollection of the process or who he was before it happened. Whatever happened, he slowly came to as The Praetor, and in the months and years that followed, the results of his indoctrination expressed themselves in peculiar ways. Each of the Praetor were similar in that they had an obsessive and compulsive obedience to their handlers, and obsessive and unyielding application of their instructions. Augustus was unique in, that unlike his kin, he did not devolve into a quivering wreck and commit suicide.

As things went, he was used and abused during the war, especially in acts too depraved to lower normal troops to perform. His main applications came in areas that required discretion and secrecy. He was unequivocally obedient, and skilled enough to do what needed to be done in a way that wouldn't leave witnesses. As things are apt to do, he eventually ended up in Manehattan, doing jobs for the Guerrillas and the OGI in particular.

The Praetor cannot be unnerved, or otherwise disturbed. Painkillers, uppers, downers, hallucinogens, and other psychoactive and psychotropic drugs cause weird or unexpected effects on his reconfigured brain. Attempts to magically make changes on his brain or memories can backfire on the magic user.
