Personality: Quiet, subservient. Only speaks when necessary, at all other times Granitz will stay quiet. Disciplined and loyal to Johan and the Halden Family.

Background: Granitz is part of a Diamond Dog family that has served the Hakden Royal Family for generations. The first born male of each litter is trained to be a personal servant, and at the birth of a new Halden, they are assigned to the young griffon as a mentor and aide.

When Johan was born, Granitz had just come of age to become a Halden servant. When he got the notice, the dog unhesitantly came. He has accompanied Johan for the griffon's entire life, and Johan cares for him deeply.
