=Bio=
Personality: Young grew up very curious, and very eager to learn things; he learned of the things that his fathers and grandfathers wanted him to know, and he wanted to know more.

When he aged, and he grew to know what it was to be hungry, and needy, he came to value safety of income over discovery. Though he was still quick to pick up on things, his professionalism demanded he keep his mouth shut most of the time. He became more inward, still curious, but restraining his desires to explore in the interest of keeping his job.


History: Young Landstrider was born with the Buffalo of the Plains far before the war started. He grew up bored, but curious, and swallowed up all the knowledge that was available to him. The Plains Buffalo who called him kin were wise people, but not particular affluent in knowledge of the world around them. When he became of age, he desired more knowledge, and so endeavored to enroll with a relatively affordable college in a pony town nearby.

His school years were tough, but he had the enthusiasm for the learning that a lot of students lack. He got a proper education, and graduated just in time to witness the beginning of the war. At first he assumed that the war would pass, but as the years rolled by and Equestria became further embroiled in the warfront, he lost that confidence.

When Manehattan was taken, he was one of the few individuals able to evade griffon attention due to his census-dodging nationality. A buffalo didn't easily fit into their clean-cut "Earth Pony Farmer, Unicorn Magician, Pegasus Pony Weather" dichotomy, and because he had a fair trade and payed taxes when asked, he managed to keep his business. Although guilt set in as his neighbors and friends were forced into hiding or worse, he was still willing to comply if it meant a steady paycheck.


Special Skills/Abilities/Spells Descriptions: Young is a professional detective with a college degree in the Natural Sciences. He is well versed in the basics of magical sciences (seeing as they are treated as natural sciences in Equestria), but only in principle, from an academic standpoint. He knows enough of mathematics and science to understand the principles behind many phenomena, again, solely on an academic basis.

He has been a professional detective for about eighteen years now, and knows the tricks and methods of the trade. Resolving mysteries isn't a big issue for him, just stock and norm.
