Personality: During her childhood, she was very open, very talkative, and very colorful. That was, of course, until her dad died. Then she turned into a recluse, refusing to leave home, only ever talking to her mother, and practicing poker with her. At the turning of the eighth year since his death, the war ended, along with her troubles. Fortuna then decided to turn her skills with the cards and her magic to help, and bringing out her old self, Only, drunker. She also developed a few new parts of that personality, Such as being that she is more secretive, in hopes to hide her past.
Occasionally she visits her mother Starluck, bringing her the life and joy of her former self, which helped, since she wouldn't budge from her house unless she needed to feed herself. Aside from the ultra rare arguement, they try to make the best of what they had left. Both Fortuna and Starluck always said farewell, with grins spread like butter across their faces.
History: As a young filly, and as a big part of her life, Fortuna normally played poker, specifically Omaha Hold 'Em, with her father Dirge when she was six, and frequently got lucky with her cards, most prominently getting a royal flush, which earned her cutie mark.. That, was, until, he left for the war a year later, never to come back. After suffering through her mother's seclusion for a week in mourning, Fortuna herself had not much to do, besides the occasional sob in a corner.And the rare prayer that Dirge somehow survived.
After twelve miserable years Most of which were engulfed in war, she decided to try her luck at the taverns, now that things had calmed down....Sort of. Using her magic as a sort of advantage in games, it sometimes worked against her, causing her to lose a lot of bet money and a grinning drunk, who normally found himself depleted of his purse by the time he left, with dampened spirits. She felt this urge to discover treasure in her lifetime, and spent months searching through abandoned buildings, all of which contained nothing. So, she went back to life as usual, suppressing the urge to go treasure hunting again, other than ordering everybody drinks with her win money.
Spells Descriptions: She uses luck to as many ways as she sees fit, whether it be making somebody unlucky, or herself lucky. But, this can backfire.
