Onyx's disappearance

Onyx has been gone a while, and since I cannot fill that hole so easily, I wanted to... have Onyx do something in the mean time. Onyx will be for however long, in Canterlot. Since I will not be doing a thread on this, I'll be doing a fic on it instead. I won't publish it without permission/being told it doesn't suck.

I will be keeping things canon, and Onyx will only be coming out with one thing overall, a book. He might have a couple scars, but otherwise he only gets a book. Probably because he sucks with weapons with those baseball glove paws he has. Just to let you know, is anypony interested in editing? It will likely be short (4-5k words), unless a length is requested. It will be made in parts to avoid... it happening again.

Well, permission wise, we've always endorsed fanfics being done of our setting. So yeah, go ahead and do that.

As for editting, normally people wait till the fic is half written before they look for editors . But yeah, I like to do editing. Maybe someone else too.

Onyx was half expecting the fic to be shot down... Onyx will start writing, and see what available information there is on Canterlot, possibly expanding it. Also... I have done fics before, and so I do somewhat know what I am doing.

The Canterlot lore is rather sparse. I'd be surprised if you found much. Anything you write about canterlot might actually get put in as new canon

Sure, I can help. I'm a bit of a Grammar Nazi, so if you want me to look it over afterwards, I can do some editing. Just be careful, I might rewrite the entire damn thing in order to make it less 'sparse'. ^^

In order to make things easier... I will be making smaller chapters instead of an entire story. I really don't know how long the story should be. Also Joker, would you mind just screaming at me saying on where things need more... actually nevermind. So long as the idea isn't lost, I don't mind so much.
