Random Counters: Raise the Bar (DATED, CLOSED)

((Takes place at 6:00 PM))

Three griffons were sitting in one of the corner seats of the bar. One was a bright Gray, probably Northr in origion. One was a dirty looking brown, and the other had an unusual jet black color. They sat, telling old stories while drunk, usually in the same bar. Called the Tooth and Claw, this club was one of the many that were griffons only, but one of the few legitimate ones. The trio of griffons often visited it when they weren't out patrolling. On this particular night, they were especially drunk, and racous laughter could be heard breaking out occasionally.

"And when I woke up, the chick was gone, and stole twenety bits from me!" said the bright gray one, and they all joined in a drunken laugh. The brown one spoke up. "You can't trust the Haldery types. They'd sell their soul, for any advantage they could have on each other!" And they all shared in another round of laughs. The bartender didn't particularly like this group for the simple fact they could be extremely annoying. But they were regular customers, and he tolderated them just for the fact.

Kira would not say that this type of establishment was some place that she usually would visit. Really she had actually chosen to stay away from these kind of places, not really sure why she had not do this as the spirit of this place seemed to be higher then other places she had been at where everything was just work. Still she had nothing better to do with her Zeppelin still in dock and under going repairs, but for now she and her crew would need some R&R.

So with this was now the gryphoness sitting by the bar holding a glass of nice strong drink she had ordered, it was not the best drink but it was the atmosphere that you paid for in here not the good drinks.

A few minutes after the white griffon entered, the black one spoke up, after another round of stories and laughter. "Look at that chick over there. She looks pretty nice." he said, with a chuckle. "I'll say. And she looks Northr. I hear Northr girls like it rough." the brown one said adding another small laugh around the table. The gray griffon, a Northr himself. said "Heck, I bet you couldn't land that anyway. Northr chicks are always hard to get." he said, having experience with them. "Oh really? I bet you both 5 bits I go over there, and get her to my place, tonight." said the black griffon, a bit of a chick man himself back in his hometown. "You got a deal there." said the Gray griffon. "Yeah, no way your bagging her in one night." said the brown griffon. The black one chuckled, and nodded.



He got up, and headed over to the chick. "Hey there. Names Blackwing. What's yours?" he said bluntly. He was usually blunt when it came to chicks, in more ways then one.

Kira looked over to the group of gryphon guards when the black gryphon came over to her and introduced him self, she only raised an eyebrow at him. He was clearly intoxicated but so was she as well so she did not really see his clear advances on her. So as she have been teached so much during her entire life and childhood she bowed her head in greetings to this guard. "Kira." She said before looking up and him and then turning back to her drink taking another sip from her drink.

"Mmm, Kira. Sounds like a lovely name.~" said Blackwing, playfully. He looked to his comrades, and gave them a thumbs up. "A lovely name, for a lovely chick, if I do say myself." he said slyly, laying on everything he could in his drunken state.

Kira blushed from the waves Blackwings complements, maybe it was part of the drink that she blushed or maybe she was actually slightly taken by his words even if they were very blunt. Really she have had suitors with a lot more class and style go after her earlier but she really had not paid them any mind, still drunk and bored she found this simple guard actually some what interesting. "Well... Thanks." She said not noticing him looking back at the other two gryphons.

He saw that she had seen him look over. "Just a couple of goofballs of mine...Gotta keep tabs on them." he said, smiling inwardly, at the slight insult to his friends.

"So, Miss Kira, how does a chick like yourself, end up in a place like this?" he asked, curious. Not many chicks came into the Tooth and Claw, and the few that did weren't very good looking. He was genuinely curious, but he still remembered the end goal, and the 10 bits he was going to earn.

Kira looked over to the group and gave then a quick bow with her head before she looked back to Blackwing. "Well is that not nice of you." She said with a small smile.

She tilted her head some when he asked how she ended up in a place like this. "I opened the door and walked in." Did she said, in reality was she not really sure what she did in this place maybe she was here just because she was bored or maybe she was tired of all the more finer establishments she could have gone to. "No I most is here because I was bored."

Blackwing smiled. "Well, maybe we can make the night a bit more...interesting.~" he said playfully. He knew one of two things could happen. His blunt nature would turn her on, or completely off. He hoped this first one. There was 10 bits at stake.

Kira might have been drunk but really that drunk was she not to not know what this gryphon meant with his advances. Still she was bored and actually felt like she might get something out of this as well or she will at least make sure she will get something out of this or this Blackwing might regret laying his eyes on her. "You know hansom." She murred some. "I like to see how you can make things... interesting~"

The griffon grinned. He liked where this was going. His buddies we're silently resenting the fact he had so easily picked up the chick. "How about we take this party back to my place?" he said, a bit nervous now.

Kira could almost laugh as she say the gryphon starting to get nervous as she was so easy to access for him, this might be a much more fun night that she first planned to have and she would not stop this until she was starting to feel bored. "Oh lead on to your great fortress." She said as she still kept a straight face as she gave his friends a small wink as she stood up from her seat.

This had gotten much better than expected, and he gave a small nervous smile. Looking back to his brooding friends, he felt his nerve increase just enough.

"Well...follow me to my castle then, my lady."

He gave a bow towards the door, and motioned for her to exit first.

"I see..." he said, still a tad nervous. He made his way out the door, and awaited the lovely griffoness. "Follow me, Lovely~" he said with a wink, and began walking down the street, looking over to see if she was following.

Kira walked after Blackwing down the night time street enjoying the cold night air against her face which made her ruffle her feathers some to let some of the fresh air move between each individual feather. It was a nice night to be outside and she guessed if it was not fore the curfew for the ponies they would be out here as well, but as it was that made the streets seem empty.

She had kept quiet for sometime as she walked sometime glancing at at hi, as he walked but only smiled at her self when she notice her self doing so. "So how much further is it?" She asked breaking her silence.

Blackwing said "Not too much further. Just a block or two." and proceeded to continue walking. Soon they approached a building with a worn out façade. It had definitely seen better days. He pulled out a key and opened the door. "After you miss." he said holding the door open for her.
