Personality:
Morning wood is a very Happy-Go-Lucky pony, she tries her best to give strangers a bit of her trust since there isn't really any point in living if you cant to living if you can't at least believe there are some strangers in this world that you can expect a smit of kindness from. She tries to do as much as good as she can but she hates having to make the big decisions, she doesn't trust herself to not slowly walk down a dark road if she begins having to balance the good and bad. Shes always been a simple pony and all she ever wants is a simple life.

In reality, she comes of as extremely naive and truthfully very much right so, when it comes to bad things or the evils that go on, she somehow simply cannot accept them. She just wants everything to be simple and happy like a fairy tale. Some of those who know her say she never really grew up when she lost her parents, other say she's what everpony should be like, and the world would be just that much better of a place.
History:
Morning was still young when the war broke out, her parents woke her up in the night and sent her with a stranger. They ran out in the night with little belongings and as battle raged on around them, Morning's father took a bolt to the leg and feel behind, he yelled at her mother to take her and leave but she placed Morning into a nearby cart and as tears ran down her face she looked into her daughter's face she told her she was sorry, sorry that when it came down to it, she couldn't leave the stallion she loved for her. Morning didn't understand, there were screams and there was blood but at no point did she accept that her mother didn't love her. So she hid in that cart as her mother ran off, griffons encircling the sky as the force began to move in and subjugate the ponies, making sure to put down the wounded.

At some point in the night, Morning fell asleep, she looked out of the cart to see a train of refuges around her, the cart had belonged to a family who had managed to make it out in time, though a mare smiled as soon as she came out of the wagon, asking her what how'd she get there. Morning explained to her that her mother left to go get her father, explaining her entire story as the mare's expression got more sullen around the part where she abandoned her. A few tears trickled down the mare's face and she gave Morning a hug. Morning hugged her back gladly and fluttered her wings playfully. The mare didn't have the heart to explain to her that her mother abandoned her. She begged Morning to stay but Morning began to tear up a bit, "...but I have to go find my mama". The mare, Shimmering Silk, finally managed to persuade her to stay and Morning did stay but for many nights she rose sleepless as a voice in the back of her head told her it wasn't right. After 3 years it got the best of her.

Her mother needed her, what kind of child would she be if she just picked another?? she packed up the things she needed and left the refuge camp, heading towards the east, not knowing if her dad survived, or if she'd ever find mom. Just that she loved them, and had to believe they could be a family again. As the morning sun rose, she smiled and waved behind to that life.

And began to chase her lost life.
