Personality:

Crimson is known to be a generally grumpy guy, who rarely smiles. Attempts to stop him from frowning all the time are usually fruitless, but that doesn't mean he's constantly in a bad mood, just not a very cheerful character. He doesn't like to show his feelings much, and likes to instead dwell on his books and research instead, which is why he is often seen reading a book, scribbling down notes, or observing. This is something he likes to do on his own, silently without any distraction, since he's not very talkative and likes his solitude once in a while, or so he likes to tell the others.

This doesn't mean he's cold-hearted or can't stand having others around him, he's willing to help everyone as best as he can when he feels they need and deserve it. Emphasis on need, since he believes for the most part that no one should rely on anyone but themselves. He is also mostly the opposite of disingenuousness, and would better be described as veracious, open about his motives and honest in his words. Trying to rely more on facts than feelings, he is not very religious or believing in astrology, but still respectful of the beliefs of others, most of the time. Living after his own moral code, since he's very anti-authoritarian, he thinks that everyone should try to become happy in their own way, as long as it doesn't affect others negatively.

History: The first years of his life went on pretty normally for someone like him. He grew up in a middle-class household in some outer borough of Manehattan, where he lived with both of his parents. He also went to a good school with plans of college, but they were shattered when the griffons invaded. In the troubles and chaos of war, he and his parents lost their home and most of what they possessed.

He then had to start looking after himself and start his won business to make ends meet. Eventually, he mostly lost contact with his family, which might still live with relatives or in some shelter, he doesn't know and tries to make it through life on his own now. That of course doesn't mean that he doesn't miss them a lot and would like to see them again, it's just that he thinks he could put them in danger, seeing how often he has already helped rebels, and that he has no time to start looking for them.

At the moment, his newspaper enjoys moderate success, but he is always a bit worried that one day authorities will get onto him, come into his house and arrest him. But he does what he thinks is right and tries to live by his own moral code, and not bow to the oppressors who caused his separation from his family.

Special Skills/Abilities/Spells Descriptions: No extraordinary skills, but some experience and knowledge in fields that can prove to be very useful, such as observing, researching, and reading some ancient languages that are not spoken anymore.
